Initial Consultation
Clinic: 45-min comprehensive cardiorespiratory assessment, treatment and start of your independant home treatment plan.
Follow-up Consultation
Outreach or Clinic: 30-min follow-up assessment, progression of treatment and adaptations (if any) to your independent home treatment plan.
Airway Clearance Therapy
Clinic: Intensive airway clearance therapy session to maximise sputum clearance. Please bring prescribed device/s and mucolytics.
Lymphoedema Management (30 min)
Clinic: This 30-min session includes assessment of lymphoedema, lymphatic drainage, scar massage & range of motion exercises to minimise contractures and oedema.
Burns Scar Management
(30 min)
Clinic: This 30-min session includes exercise, skin care and scar massage to help break up the collagen bundles that form to make a scar. Exercise includes joint range of movement and stretching.
Home Visit
(45-60 min)
Outreach: Pre-arranged home visits comprise of review of equipment (e.g., CPAP or O2 therapy), tracheostomy care, airway clearance, hydrotherapy and especially getting you moving!

Children's Sports Physiotherapy
Clinic: This 30-min session is focussed on areas such as: recovery post-injury, postural assessments & exercise therapy. Please contact Sean in advance before making a booking.
About appointments:
Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy appointments are available for adults and children with lung and heart conditions.
Self referral: You do not need a doctor's referral for cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, however, with your consent, Sean may collaborate with your wider medical team to ensure that you are benefitting from treatment.
Register as a patient: To prepare for your appointment, please register as a new patient at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Cancellations/changes: Sometimes life just gets in the way! Ideally at least 3 hours notice should be given if you cannot make your appointment. Please call +61 (0) 401 657 594 to cancel and I will reschedule your appointment.
Outreach: Home visits that are more than 25km from the clinic at 123 Denham Street incur a $0.99/km charge to a maximum of 100km. These sessions are pre-arranged and associated costs will be discussed in advance.
Private Patients: Physiotherapy is claimable through private health ‘extras’ cover. Payment is required at the time of your consultation. Tyro Health payment solutions for online & EFTPOS debit and credit card payments are offered. The rebate amount and eligibility depend on your health fund and level of cover. To confirm your rebate eligibility and amount, please contact your health fund directly.
GP Management Plan Patients: A current referral from your GP is required. You must pay the full consultation fee upfront. However, Medicare rebate* can typically be claimed immediately, provided you bring your Medicare card and debit card to each appointment. Patients who have reached the Medicare Safety Net may be eligible for a higher rebate. *Medicare determined and rebate amounts are subject to change without notice.
DVA Patients: Accounts will be billed directly to DVA, however a current doctor’s referral is required for both Gold and White card holders.
NDIS: Patients on self-managed and managed plans should contact Sean to discuss your healthcare needs and to discuss payment options.
